Mount Major

We completed a trail assessment and planning project in central New Hampshire, including the layout and design of just under 2 miles of trail and a restoration plan. Mount Major is a very popular tourist destination with an estimated yearly visitation of 100,000 people.

Phase One was the restoration and construction of approximately 500 linear feet of trail. In this project we overcame some interesting challenges, including addressing two springs located in the treadway and a trail width of 20 linear feet wide.
